This elegant hall table showcases a natural-edged top, with creamy sapwood accents along its front edge as well as on the legs. At 30” high, the top provides a convenient surface that matches the height of most tabletops found in the home.  Higher versions can be made upon request. The legs are joined to the top with tapered sliding dovetails, a stout joint that locks the parts soundly together. The center beam further enhances this solidity with wedged, double through-tenons, which provide strength as well as jewel-like beauty. The legs are set in from the back edge of the table so that any baseboard trim won’t interfere with the top nesting against a wall. Several coats of hand-rubbed oil bring out the color, luster and depth of the wood, and a topcoat of an oil/urethane mix provides lasting protection against daily wear.
